BTI specializes in the design, manufacturing and distribution of rechargeable batteries and power related products.  Our Research & Development team consists of experienced engineers and technicians who release an average of 75 new notebook computer battery models each year.  BTI has made a significant investment in custom circuit design and has circuit board level SMT production capabilities.  Extensive knowledge and training in rechargeable lithium ion & lithium polymer battery development, combined with the use of UL certified components, has enabled BTI to develop a safe and reliable line of power products.

Assembly Department

With company owned production facilities in California and Hong Kong, BTI maintains an unparalleled response time for its domestic battery orders while forecasting and managing the timely delivery of finished goods to Europe, South America and parts of Asia.  As an ISO9001 certified manufacturer, BTI is able to maintain control of the assembly process and monitor the quality of the components that are used.  Verifying that the lithium ion cells being used in a replacement battery pack are brand new and come from the highest quality suppliers is something that only an actual battery manufacturer, like BTI, can offer. 

Warehouse

BTI operates three distribution warehouses - located in California, Ireland and Hong Kong - to support a global customer base with 24 hour turnaround time on orders.  Through accurate forecasting, the appropriate levels of product are kept in inventory to support the demands of multiple customers.  BTI processes large, palletized bulk orders as well as thousands of individual drop ship orders weekly.  Through partnerships with FedEx and UPS, BTI has established scalable shipping stations inside the California logistics facility to allow for high volume, customized drop ship programs for ecommerce customers, dealers, distributors and service part repair centers.

Battery recycling/Reverse Logistics

Whether there is a need for a warranty dispatch plan, RMA support, customized core return program or simply a collection process for recycling used rechargeable batteries, BTI offers multiple solutions through our reverse logistics division.  Remember - recycling is an extremely important part of using rechargeable batteries and BTI offers a safe and environmentally sound method for properly disposing of used notebook computer batteries.
